I'm Lisa, the founder of The Women Who Run Free, and I'm so happy you're here.

I believe that healing happens in wild places, in honest spaces, and in the presence of women who are willing to show up exactly as they are.  I come from a background in engineering, so trusting my intuition and spiritual and ancient practices didn't come easily to me.  It required unlearning everything I'd been taught to value - logic over intuition, performance over presence, and safety over aliveness.

This path has required me to shed A LOT; societal norms, toxic patterning, friendships, and many, MANY family dynamics and relationships.  I had to lose an overwhelming amount of versions of myself I thought I needed in order to become the woman I actually am.  It hasn't been easy.  But it's absolutely been worth it.  I've spent years doing the deep work - spending months at a time backpacking solo abroad, sitting with discomfort, choosing introspection over avoidance, and learning how to regulate my nervous system instead of abandoning myself.

I created The Women Who Run Free for the woman who feels like she's outgrown (or settled into) the life she finds herself in.  The one who's done people-pleasing.  The beauty who is tired of shrinking and minimizing herself.  The Goddess who wants more - more depth, connection meaning, and truth.  This community is for the woman who knows she's meant to feel more alive than this, and who's ready to come home to herself, in the company of others doing this beautiful, courageous work.

I'm not here to fix you.  I'm not here to be a leader.  I'm here to walk beside you, lovingly cheering you on, while you remember who you are.
